Our thanks to Michael Jahn for scaring up the purchase details on an FB posting we threw out there earlier in the week about “Type Matters” tableware – dishes, cups, etc. for the typeface-obsessed. Initially we thought this was yet another Kickstarter wind-up, or more likely, a product of Photoshop and a 6-pack. Turns out, it’s real.
Though a tad on the pricey side if you entertain the fantasy of kitting out your entire tableware collection with the stuff, we could see picking up a piece or two prior to the holidays for the designer on your list who always seems to question your taste in gifts for them. Serve ’em up a mug like this and be done with it. (Or take it for yourself if they kick up a fuss.)
