Mohawk Maker Quarterly No. 4

maker_125With the release of Mohawk Maker Quarterly No. 4, the company has completed its first year of celebrating “maker” culture everywhere. And with this issue dedicated to the concept of “Community,” it’s blown the doors off with nicely illustrated features on Blurb, TED Fellows, and 826 National – Dave Eggers’ brilliant nonprofit.

And because when it comes to Mohawk, it’s all about the paper, this issue is printed on Mohawk Via using a variety of finishes:

  • Felt, Pure White, 70 Text (pages 1, 2, 19 & 20),
  • Linen, Pure White, 80 Text (pages 3, 4, 17 & 18)
  • Satin, Pure White, 80 Text (pages 5, 6, 15 & 16)
  • Vellum, Pure White, 70 Text (pages 7, 8, 13 & 14)
  • Smooth, Pure White, 70 Text (pages 9, 10, 11 & 12).

Designed by Hybrid Design in San Francisco, it was printed using 4-color process by SandyAlexander in Clifton, NJ. The issue also includes videos and other extra content that can be accessed using Mohawk’s augmented-reality app Mohawk Live.
