Palo Alto, California – September 26, 2018 – In search of inspiration? You can’t go wrong when you learn from the best. William Addison Dwiggins, one of the most influential and innovative designers of the twentieth century, made an indelible mark on the field of design. By exploring this master designer’s life and work, you can do the same.

A pioneer in infographics, Dwiggins created brilliant works in calligraphy, textile design, painting, printmaking and sculpture, while designing everything from typefaces to books to marionettes. He worked with four key patrons, one of which was Sappi North America, whose archives were a source for Kennett’s biography of Dwiggins. And, he was even a prolific writer, not only coining the term ‘graphic designer,’ but successfully using satire and humor to promote societal change.

But perhaps more importantly, Dwiggins’ life and work can serve as a source of inspiration. In an exclusive PaperSpecs webinar, author Bruce Kennett will share what designers can learn from the visionary designer, as well as an overview of the full scope and remarkable creativity of Dwiggins’ work.

“Designers can never have too much inspiration,” says Sabine Lenz, founder of PaperSpecs.com. “By sharing insights into the extraordinary life and work of W.A. Dwiggins, Bruce Kennett gives creatives the opportunity to learn from one of the best.”

Dwiggins had an impeccable work ethic and he advocated for the highest standards of workmanship and design. If you are ready to emulate him, this webinar is for you.
