On February 1, 2012, Neenah Paper began taking orders on the portion of Wausau’s Fine Paper division that it purchased. Those brands include:
Astrobrights, Astroparche, Royal Linen, Royal Fiber, Royal Laid, Royal Complements, Royal Cotton, Royal Marble, Royal Metallics, Royal Resource, Wausau Bright White And Creative Collection.
Exclusive license rights for a portion of the Exact brand specialty business include Exact Brights, Exact Coated, Exact Digital, Exact Index, Exact Tag and Exact Vellum Bristol.
Wausau released this statement concerning the non-acquired brands (Exact Eco 100, Exact Ice, Exact Opaque White and Colors, and Exact Multipurpose brands):
“Inventory of these non-acquired brands will continue to be sold by Wausau Paper until depleted. Orders must be a 2000 lb. minimum to ship. The new daily cut-off times are 2:00 p.m. CST (LA 4:00 p.m. CST). Customer Solutions will continue to field inquiries on special-make business through the Brainerd mill on these non-acquired brands, plus private label board grades. Orders must be a minimum of 20 tons and trim the paper machine (177″- 187″) per grade.”
