Staples Adds Digital Label Printing

stapleThis week, Staples joined us all in the 21st century as its printing arm, Staples Print Solutions, added two HP Indigo WS6600 Digital Presses to its label and packaging print facilities in Witchita, Kansas, and Fresno, Calif. The web-fed WS6600s can print on a variety of paper and synthetic substrates, from 0.5 pts to 18 pts thick.

Staples Print Solutions currently prints flexible packaging, labels, commercial print and corporate brand identity pieces, among other items.

“HP’s dominant position in the digital press industry and the quality of HP Indigo output enables Staples Print Solutions to confidently extend its digital label and packaging offerings, exceeding customer expectations,” said Jeff Crump, VP and general manager of Staples Print Solutions. But then again, he would say that.
