Lucky 13 Card Kit

303-lucky13-1

The year 2013 inspired many novel ways of looking on the bright side of the number 13, and this printer’s promotion is no exception. In fact, this handy, creative dimensional piece brought the luck of the draw with it.

Inside the card kit, which is part file cabinet and part recipe box, recipients found a white wire-o bound calendar that explained the many symbols of luck from around the world. Five file folders contained fun and useful cards and envelopes.

The designers decorated the outside of each diecut file folder with a repeating pattern that calls upon a lucky motif – horseshoes, dragon flies, elephants with upturned trunks, lady bugs, and four-leaf clovers.

A veritable treasure trove of printing (digital and offset) samples on a bevy of stocks from Mohawk – BriteHue, Chromolux, Loop, Options, Skytone, Strathmore, Via and Specialty Digital substrates – I’m betting not too many of these will be left in the box by the end of 2013.

Lucky 13 Card Kit was featured as a Paper Inspiration.
