Packaged…naturally Calendar

I got completely wrapped up in the theme of DISC’s self-promotional calendar – “Packaged…naturally.” (So appropriate for a packaging company!)

But don’t let the straightforward approach of the theme fool you. The monthly images are embellished with intricate embossing and special coatings that bring the calendar to life and call our attention to the way nature packages its own special goods: the chick’s eggshell, the corn ear’s husk – just loved them all!

It’s a great example of how to use special treatments like soft touch coatings, textured coatings and spot varnishes to enhance the visual message.
