Originating from a prominent street name in its locale, South Street Brewery is a bright, approachable brand that highlights playful illustrations with a clean and modern edge. The overall brand is united by splashes of color and friendly, flat design-inspired illustrations. The Barstools and Dreamers Series, whose packaging was created by Watermark Design, is the reserve tier of the brand that encompasses 12 oz. seasonal carriers and a 750 ml. specialty line.
The series design creates an ethereal scene where the illustrations loom forward against the darkness of the background. Each central illustration in the series is rendered in a flat-design aesthetic that plays off the individually hand-lettered titles of the label. In addition, each label is laser die cut to reflect the shapes generated by the illustrations. Fine, flowing line work surrounds each central illustration to evoke a whimsical theme.
The labels were printed digitally using six colors on a 54 lb. matte silver foil substrate.
