
Answer: Both raised ink and sandpaper feel!
Today’s screen printing doesn’t just look distinctive, it feels unique, too.
Raised ink. A specially formulated ink is used with a special mesh for the actual screen, allowing more ink to be squeezed through, raising the ink height.
Sandpaper feel. Sandpaper particles are added to the ink, giving you a large array of color choices and tactile options. Do not go overboard, though – the viscosity of the ink needs to remain intact. You can also achieve Glitter and Glow-in-the-Dark effects, too. And that’s just the beginning!
