NY Rock Exchange Stock Certificates

75nyrock

This piece is a blue chip of an idea for any portfolio.

Linking the concept of the stock certificate to a collectible piece of art (both things that increase in value in a happy world) is money in the bank.

The stock (80 lb. Brilliant White Mohawk Superfine Cover) definitely rose to the occasion as they threw just about every technique at it: three foil colors: clear, black and silver; blind embossed seal logo; blind debossed panel and vertical lines with brass debossing die; sculpture emboss banner and logo seal; register deboss artist name and song title; two-color letterpress: serial number and signature – a total of 11 passes through the press for finishing not including the offset and digital printing!

A real great insider tip: the use of clear foil stamping over the 4-color photo that creates a nice glossy surface on this uncoated paper.

So, are we bullish on this project? You bet!
