2015 TED Fellows Book

582-fellows-1

The TED Fellows Program is a global network of “visionaries in their fields who collaborate across disciplines and make an impact around the world.” The team at Albertson Design did a masterful job of designing this book that serves to introduce the new members selected for the 2015 conference.

With so much information and so many photos, organization is especially important on this type of project. Consistency in the use of images and readable type choices play a key role in the successful design here. Colorful, whimsical illustrations on the cover and divider pages provide a cohesive feel.

Four-color images (on all text pages) reproduce beautifully on the Rolland Enviro 100 Satin. Classic Crest Smooth on the cover pairs well with the inside; the 165 lb. Cover perfectly supports the semi-hidden wire-o binding. Wire-o is such a wonderful choice – good looks and practicality (lay flat) all rolled into one.
