EXPLORE 2010 Invitation

236-explore-1

The argyle sweater is synonymous with golfing culture even today, so it’s an evocative pattern that tees up this hole-in-one invitation.

Inspired by the impressive golf course at the destination-themed event, the pattern is expertly brought to life with an overall dull varnish accented with a spot gloss UV. The argyle is rendered in white on the outer sleeve and in green and blue on the invite itself (a 12-page, saddle-stitched booklet with gatefold center spread).

The sleeve has a handy diecut notch at the top so the booklet can be easily removed. A diecut circular window toward the bottom of the sleeve reveals the event logo. A tiny dotted line that’s part of the argyle aligns perfectly between both pieces (an amazing feat).

The designers chose McCoy Silk, which adds an opulent exclusive feel that’s perfect for the audience and event. The four-color photos reproduce beautifully on this paper too.
