Knock knock. Who’s there? Great. Great who? Great card design. Gilah Press designed and printed a lovely greeting card that beckons to be opened so a personal note can be penned.
Using one-color letterpress printing and a perfectly registered gold foil, the intricate door knocker illustrations in the set remind me of the one that came to life on Scrooge’s front stoop. The rich feel of the Reich Savoy paper [Get Swatchbook] adds a special touch to each line detail.
A gray-and-gold palette is soothing and lends an air of sophistication and luxury that will appeal to a traditional sensibility.
