Tempus Fugit is Latin for the expression “time flies,” which seems appropriate for a book containing information for studios and designers creating calendars or exploring the concept of time. Designed by Bildi Grafiks, this book received a Red Dot Design Award 2010.
The book includes an introductory essay on real time design and sound, by Robert Appleton, together with more than 60 calendars. There are also 50 reflections by designers, showcasing 12 exemplary cases by world design celebrities, including George Tscherny, Paula Scher, John Maeda, Kit Hinrichs, Massimo Vignelli and Ahn Sang Soo, among others.
