The Fold’s the Thing

foldWith all the effort funneled into getting paper to be “more interactive” through changing color and sending SMS messages this year, it’s kind of refreshing to see how some artists are wowing us by sticking close to paper’s roots instead. Take this complexly understated (how’s that for an oxymoron?) children’s book, The Adventures of a Village, that uses artful folds to tell its story.

You never know what you’ll find when you unfold these triangular pages, and quite frankly, that’s the beauty of it all.
