Weekly Quiz: Name this Type of Letterpress Printing!

Answer: Tonal letterpress!

Tonal letterpress is sometimes mistaken for blind or inkless letterpress printing. While a blind letterpress print is very elegant, it is often hard to read. This is where your printer will recommend the use of a very light ink color – usually one step darker than your paper color – for a subtle effect.
