Pacific Northwest Sketchbook

Must Have: Sylvamo

Even in today’s digital world, sketchbooks are where the ideas of so many graphic designers begin. For many, the idea of leaving home without one is as unthinkable as leaving their phone behind.

So when the folks at Sylvamo wanted to give attendees of this year’s Creative Works event in Seattle a special gift, they commissioned local designer/illustrator Isaac LeFever to create this handy saddle-stitched sketchbook, featuring cover art customized for the event

More specifically, they challenged him to interpret the word “sustainability” in a way unique to the Pacific Northwest, and the direct connection to nature that one so often feels when there

The cover, depicting fish swimming through a stream past majestic trees, was digitally printed CMYK on 100 lb. Sylvamo Accent Opaque Heavyweights Smooth, while the blank interior sheets are 70 lb. Text Sylvamo Hammermill Premium Color Copy stock.

Enter to win 1 of 100 copies of the Wild Pacific Northwest sketchbook from Sylvamo right now! Hurry, this contest ends April 24, 2025. (North American entries only, please.)
