Last year, Ennis Perry Creative was charged with creating the packaging for One Seed, an Australian boutique organic perfumery. The innovative packaging solution they came up with — Darpac cardboard tubes — is flexible and updatable, allowing for easy adaptability for new fragrances without major expense or production, eliminating waste.
Through the use of graphic elements and illustration, the studio created a visual style that embodies the brand ethos. Secondary patterns, typography and an earthy color palette — including striking copper foil and white ink — all come together to form a beautiful and engaging brand package.
The illustrations were developed to reflect the authentic, organic, natural, botanical and handcrafted nature of the One Seed perfumes. And these, along with the textures and paper stock all help convey that One Seed is passionate about creating wholly natural products without compromising on beauty or quality.
The Darpac packaging is easy to open and provides a solution that’s unique for the market. It’s also 100% recyclable. Sales figures doubled within the first week of launching the new branding and packaging.
