Beaupre Wedding Invitation

277-1

Hold the pastels … and keep the roses in the garden. This contemporary wedding invitation is all about a classic black palette and bicycles built for two.

The first thing I loved about this invite was the custom envelope. Opening the dramatic black flap, a bright blue liner is revealed. The liner is adorned with a repeating pattern of two white bicycles, front wheels entwined.

That splash of blue is carried throughout the pieces in subtle ways … a monogram/crest, flower petals, and the underside of a belly band that holds the invitation cards together (nice unexpected touch of detail on that!). The belly band is also printed with the bicycles motif.

The carrier that holds the RSVP and event map cards is also unique. It’s a single sheet with a short panel that folds up to form a pocket. The pocket is secured with two tiny silver rivets. Sweet!
