Wood Type and Letterpress: A Winning Combination

web91-recording

Sometimes a project comes along where you really need for your type to shine. A groundbreaking endeavor by designer Craig Welsh will show how wood type and letterpress can give your project that something extra.

Inspired by the work of designer Alvin Lustig, Welsh is reviving a font designed by Lustig in the 1930s using wood type. Called “Lustig Elements,” the wood type will be cut at Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum, and featured by Neenah on four limited edition prints.

Ready to transform your typography game? This webinar shed light on Welsh’s cutting-edge work and showed how wood type and letterpress can impress your clients.
