Every fiber of this invitation package exudes spring garden. And what green-minded gardener wouldn’t be delighted with the Crane’s Lettra 100% cotton paper.
Now for those two spot colors – the green and blue are crisp, clean and fresh. It just makes you want to stick your nose right in the middle of those flowers … mmmm, I’m thinking the blue would smell like linens dried on a clothesline in May and the green is the same shade as the Jacob’s Ladder when it starts to push up through the thawed earth in April.
Okay, I’m really stuck on the flower illustrations – they were the design highlight of this piece for me – this traditional motif was treated with a nice modern touch. Bet the large area of solid ink was a highlight for the printer (nice job Gilah Press!).
