Axe, that purveyor of scent to teen boys, is already pretty well known for its troubling gender politics and in-your-face advertising. And just to make sure you don’t forget their employee business cards when they are in your face, each one contains that Axe rep’s, um, sweat. Yep.
The “pheromone business cards” were brought to life by Toronto’s Union agency. As the company partner and president Sub Nijjar told FastCoCreate:
“It’s a chance to exchange information and create a connection between people, but most companies limit themselves to phone number and email address. We saw an opportunity to embed into the cards themselves the very promise and playful nature of Axe when it comes to the mating game.”
