Russia's First Coated Freesheet

russiaNow we’re not  sure what our North American audience is supposed to do with this information exactly, but dang it we’re PaperSpecs: If a new paper surfaces we’re gonna tell you about it, no matter how hard it is to lay your mitts on.

In this case, the paper from Ilim Group, marketed under the Omela brand, happens to be Russia’s first ever coated freesheet. Here are the stats from the мать (mama) sheet:

  • Double-coated paper
  • Matte and gloss
  • 80 gsm to 150 gsm.

And with that we say to our brother and sister design professionals in the Russian Federation: Welcome to the coated-paper club.
