This clever dimensional mailer has me whistling an appreciative tune. Designed and printed by GLS as a self-promotional piece, it contains more than one surprise.
The top of the cube-shaped box is done with Transfer Metalized 10 pt. C1S Digital (Hazen Paper Co.). The bright and shiny silver surface grabs attention immediately, as does the clanging sound coming from inside.
Small metal bells and whistles fill the bottom of the box (Yes, they are workable!), which re-enforces the tagline of the promo. Construction on this half is also unique. Rather than designing it like the glued lid, the bottom (done in a heavier 18 pt. GPA C1S) is diecut and scored to open up like a flower petal. Each of the nine interior panels portions off space for sales copy and images and blocks of bright color.
