heaven 42 is a soft dull-coated paper. With a CIE Whiteness value of 155, it is significantly whiter than other coated papers, opening up entirely new color spaces. The absolute whiteness of heaven 42 is a major design advantage when printing metal or technical images. It allows metal parts, tools, vehicles, color charts, etc. to be illustrated in a neutral and pure brilliance.

The large contrast ran­ge also enhances the effect of images and makes even the smallest of type sizes and reverse types easily legible. heaven 42 can also be combined with uncoated papers with the same degree of whiteness. As a result, it meets the requirements of many companies in the cre­ative industry, who have been searching for an ultra-white coated pa­per to complement their elegant, high-quality printed products, such as business reports.

When it comes to the printing process, this paper satisfies all requi­rements. Fast ink absorption, a high level of rub resistance and good stacking properties also enable optimum print runs at high machine speeds.

In practical tests, fine conventional and frequency-modulated screens delivered equally good results. During the finishing stage, the paper demonstrates excellent folding characteristics, thereby allowing the optimization of processing times.

heaven 42 is produ­ced from very pure, natural raw materials, and its pulp is certified to FSC standards. Raw materials are sourced from sustainably managed forests and social responsibilities are given an equal weighting to eco­nomic considerations.

Pro­duction processes at Scheufelen meet extremely high environmental standards and electricity and water consumption at the mill have been consistently reduced over a period of several years. In addition, wastewa­ter is purified using state-of-the-art combined biochemical and me­chanical process, thereby ensuring that only water of the highest quality is returned to local rivers.
