Mirricard, the mirror-like, highly reflective paper is once again widely available in the United States as Legion Paper is named the exclusive North American importer of the entire range. 

Manufactured by Celloglas in the United Kingdom, Mirricard is best known for its uniform, crystal-clear surface producing a true mirror reflection. The metalized paper produces the brightest and most reflective surface available on the market today.

The Mirricard range consists of nine colors available in a 12 pt (270gsm) card stock. Colors include silver, black, blue, copper, gold, green, pink, purple and red. For those not familiar with this beautiful line, here are the highlights:

Market Applications
Mirricard has thousands of uses, from packaging to stationery. Originally, Mirricard Silver gained popularity in the high-end packaging industry for perfumes and spirits then evolved into DVD cases and software. Now you can see the entire Mirricard range used for business applications such as presentation folders and formal invitations.

Mirriwrap and Mirriboard
To complement the Mirricard family, the ultra-thin 4 pt (100gsm) Mirriwrap paper was developed not only for packaging needs, but also for envelope lining and Point-of-Sale applications. Mirriwrap is also available in all nine colors. At the other end of the spectrum is the 16 pt (370gsm) Mirriboard, which is available only in silver.

Why is Mirricard so unique?
In short, Mirricard's consistency of color is far superior to anything available. The colors are literally embedded into a film during production that is then laminated to a cast-coated board. The robust pigment is unlike that found on coated films, the color cannot scratch or flake.

Printing on Mirricard
The polyester film protective coating provides a high-surface energy that is receptive to a variety of inks and adhesives. Mirricard can be printed and finished using a variety of processes such as letterpress, screenprinting, offset, foil stamping, embossing and debossing.
