Iggesund's Holiday Cards

iggesund_cards_125Everyone has a few things they look forward to with the approach of the holiday season: the smell of homemade cookies; twinkling lights; that scene from “The Snowman” that seems almost too beautiful for words. For us, one of those things is the opportunity to see what Iggesund has come up with this year for their annual display of Christmas artistry. Here are three beautiful examples from the last few years. (Note that only the first one is still available, and that for a very limited time indeed.)

A Shimmering Winter’s Night

Iggesund Paperboard’s 2014 Christmas card takes its recipients on a magical journey from a forest setting to the city of Stockholm profiled against a sky gleaming with the northern lights. Iggesund has a tradition of using its Christmas card as an ambassador for paperboard as a material, and to display various printing techniques. Merry Christmas from Iggesund

Iggesund’s Septet of Xmas Cheer

Before we say “ta ta” to 2013, we wanted to raise a glass to Iggesund’s impressive Christmas card for this year. Actually, all seven of them. This booklet of cards snazzily celebrates the season in a range of climates, from China to Northern Europe. The piece also highlights Iggesund’s 2013 launch of a new generation of Incada folding box board, as well as its recent changeover to running solely on biomass energy. But enough about all that, let’s get down to these sleek and snappy cards…
