And the Certification Goes To
Vertis Communications' New Jersey (North Brunswick and Monroe Township) and Pennsylvania (Chalfont and Bristol) direct mail facilities are officially Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) chain-of-custody (COC) certified.
Think Patented has become the first graphic communications firm in the Dayton, Ohio area to attain FSC Chain-of-Custody certification. Their COC certification was issued by SmartWood, a program of the Rainforest Alliance and an independent, FSC-accredited certifier.
Einstein Printing has also earned FSC Chain-of-Custody certification (#SW-COC-002801) from the Rainforest Alliance's SmartWood program. Einstein Printing joins an elite few of Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex printers able to provide paper with the FSC logo identifying that it comes from well-managed forests.
Quebecor World Inc. has achieved COC Certification for the world's three leading forest management programs: Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) and the Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).
The three chain of custody certifications were awarded to all 54 of Quebecor World's U.S. and Canadian printing locations following an audit of the company's procurement practices and control systems by both the Rainforest Alliance's SmartWood Program and PriceWaterhouseCoopers Chain-of-Custody Certification Program.
