Cheers Coasters

248-cheers-1

We’ll raise a glass to this set of paper coasters … not only because that’s what you should do with coasters, but because the design shows just how amazingly creative talented folks can get with two colors.

This set of four circular beauties, which were silkscreened on pulp board, was used as a self-promotion piece for the studio that designed them.

Wanting to create something celebratory (and a reminder of how great it is to work with this team), the designers selected the word “Cheers!” and produced the project for the New Year. The sentiment can apply to many happy occasions though so it has an evergreen quality that makes it a keeper (just what a promo should do).

The navy and metallic gold palette goes to heady heights with intricate and energetic patterns and playful typography. The coasters are tied together with a festive gold ribbon and placed inside a teasing glassine envelope. A label inviting you to “RAISE A GLASS” seals up this whole delightful package.
