Crashing Through the Snow Holiday Card

438-snow-1

When her client, Event Crashers, needed a holiday card, Valerie Wilson came up with a headline that played off the company name with humor and style. This, in turn, led to an illustration of carolers who so often show up unannounced at this time of year. And what do the songsters of the season do? Why crash your evening with merry-making, of course.

The card also became the vehicle for Event Crashers to highlight its new foil stamping capabilities. Both shiny metallic silver and blue along with white matte foil were used in the design. (I loved the tiny flecks of white foil snow that floated across the silver background.)

While the stock weight was just what we love – a hefty 50 pt. – the black color was an unexpected note that added just the right touch of harmony. Now where did I put the instant hot cocoa mix?
