About Megan Smith Valdez
Megan Smith Valdez is the director of Client Services at B Squared, a full-service marketing communications and print solutions company in New York City. Megan has been with B Squared since 2004, starting as a marketing coordinator, moving into account management and then transitioning to her current role. As director of Client Services, she oversees the Account Management and Graphic Design departments and plays an integral role in the firm’s product and business development efforts. Over the years, she has also become the resident paper and envelope expert – mostly due to her lifelong fascination with social stationery and office supplies. Prior to joining the firm, Megan worked as an interior designer and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design from Michigan State University.
About Scott Crockett
Scott Crockett is a third-generation printer. He began his career with the family business Keiger Printing Company. As with many family printers, he was taught all production aspects of the business. With a particular fondness for hand type, mechanical art and extreme substrates, Scott learned early that although anything is possible some things are not practical. In the late 80s, Scott entered sales for Keiger, and by the early 90s became one of North Carolina’s first certified graphic arts sales representatives (CGASR). With a new outlook on sales and graphics, he began most of his consultations with, “Yes is going to be the short answer to almost every question.” He has helped Keiger develop its flair for making the impractical seem practical. As early adopters, Scott and older brother, President Louis, have continued a long line of firsts with the first purchase and installation of the iGen4 in North America.
