Talk to the people who have seen the results.
Two of the industry experts in the packaging are Brian Gordon and Rick Casey of Semper Exeter in Rhode Island. Their combined experience of over 50 years has led to trusted loyalty from their customers.
“Semper Exeter has rapidly grown their packaging business through the promotion of Gruppo Cordenons Stardream product,” says Gordon.
“There are no real secrets in packaging. Our efforts have been rewarded because we have had the tremendous support of the Cordenons staff. They have supplied the appropriate amount of samples in a timely manner. They have rushed product out of the warehouse when needed and have always been there when asked.
When we meet with a customer to familiarize them with the Stardream line, it does not take much to get them to think creatively on how to use the papers in their package designs. They usually comment on the European look and feel of the papers and the fashionable nature of the colors. Sampling is always the first step taken by our packaging customers”
Rick Casey has also seen some Impressive success with Gruppo Cordenons products. “The Stardream text papers have such body and style that our customers naturally gravitate towards them. Some have used the cover weights to create package inserts in their rigid box designs.
The Cordenons colors, especially the Stardream line, strike the designers for the variety of colors and stylish feel. One major retail packaging manufacturer commented on “how well the colors mix and match.” They are very versatile.
The papers themselves provide durability and strength to a rigid box. The depth of color allows for the wear and tear inherent in retail packaging, which is due to the base stock being produced. The color keeps the product looking good and helps reduce damaged product.
Go green with paper – the most environmentally friendly packaging material.
Premium Papers benefit the environment throughout the production process. They are lightweight and relatively inexpensive to produce compared to other packaging products. They are also 100 percent recyclable and easily compacted for efficient storage, handling and transport. Plus, another advantage of paper is that it safely biodegrades in landfills.
All Gruppo Cordenons’ products are recyclable, and the majority of their cellulose comes from either ISO 14001 or FSC-certified companies to guarantee that their pulp comes only from responsibly managed forests. One hundred percent of their Italian mills’ energy needs are met from clean-burning natural gas.
All of Cordenons’ products are manufactured with ECF pulp (Elemental Chlorine-Free).
Many of Cordenons’ grades are made with alternative fibers. For example,
So…Silk contains actual silk fibers, which further complements the name.
So…Wool is made with a combination of up to 25 percent wool, cotton and ECF fiber.
Canaletto is made with up to 20 percent cotton in a neutral base; and some products are made with postconsumer waste as well.
