The Paper Lovers’ Holiday List

I tried hard not to stare. The man next to me was pulling out his wallet. Okay, I might have taken a little glimpse. But while he was paying for his purchase, I couldn’t help myself.

WallCalendar The paper lover in me took over and before my brain could activate all the “don’t intrude on strangers” etiquette rules, it was out of my mouth, “Wow, this is a unique wallet.”

Lucky for me, the gentleman was enticed by my comment and proud that someone had noticed his special wallet. It was, after all, made out of a Tyvek envelope. One word lead to another, and I quickly heard the story about how a good friend of his works for the distributor, who … I was tickled pink to have unearthed such a unique find. Tickled pink for about four days that is. That’s when The Container Store catalog arrived in my mailbox, touting the very same wallet.

My disappointment only lasted for a short while. After all, there are ample unique, great, unusual, helpful and creative gift ideas for paper and print lovers.
