He takes a closer look at the new group called Consumers Alliance for Global Prosperity (CAGP).
“Maybe it’s just me, but other than the use of the word “consumers” in the project’s name, I can’t find anything that is really “consumer” about CAGP. It smacks of big business – really big business – and the very narrow interests of a few offshore companies,” writes Nowack.
BTW – A comment posted to the editorial mentions astroturf (no, not the artificial grass stuff), but rather a term that’s being used to refer to a phony “grassroots” effort on behalf of specific industry or political agendas. That was one we hadn’t heard yet.
