Michael Osborne was asked to create heart imagery for Moo.com’s Luxe Card product promotion. He did so in his signature style – bright, cheerful, fun, inventive.
Fifty unique designs for card backs were printed CMYK digitally. The motifs were so varied that if you didn’t find one you liked … well … you didn’t have a heart!
Four-leaf clovers with heart petals; a contemporary heart painting rendered in Mondrian bold, primary colors with strokes a la Pollack; X’s and O’s in a postage stamp of love; an Egyptian Queen of Hearts playing card; a kaleidoscope view of hearts strutted its peacock arrangement; a doily of a heart shape sprinkled with white powdered sugar on a red cake are just a few of the variations Osborne created.
The stock for Luxe Cards is as rich and unique as the designs – triple the thickness and weight of most ordinary cards with a rich seam of color within the layers of paper.
